Bronze Human Figure

Length 4.54 cm, width 1.37 cm, height 10.35 cm

Made of bronze, the artifact resembles a standing human figure shown from the shoulders downward. There is a large hole in the chest, with arms extending downward past the waist. The upper body is slender. The legs are short and stout splayed outward, with small circular holes on both shoulders and lower calves near the feet. The convex front exhibits dimensional depth, contrasting with the concave reverse. Although its exact function remains unknown, it holds significant historical, artistic, and scientific value, providing crucial physical evidence for studying the bronze-casting techniques and bronze civilization of the ancient Shu people in the Chengdu region during the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
