Eye-Shaped Bronze Artifact

  Made of bronze, the artifact is generally diamond-shaped, featuring a flat and arched form with tapered ends and curved edges. The central three hollowed-out patterns represents the inner features of an eye: a central circular perforation signifies the pupil, flanked by two inward-curving triangular voids suggesting the sclera . It holds significant historical, artistic, and scientific value, providing crucial physical evidence for studying the bronze-casting techniques and bronze civilization of the ancient Shu people in the Chengdu region during the Shang and Zhou dynasties.
