Bronze Bird

Length 6.1 cm, width 6 cm, thickness 1.5 cm

Made of bronze, the bird-shaped artifact has a raised head, an upturned, hooked beak and prominent round eyes. The wings are folded and raised while the tail feathers droop. The head, neck, and body are decorated with wing-feather patterns and dotted scale motifs, with swirling cloud patterns on the abdomen. A zigzag shape formed between the lower belly and forelimbs suggests this piece likely served as an attachment mounted atop a larger bronze vessel. The entire surface displays refined polishing and meticulous craftsmanship.
