The flattened, oxidized head features a centrally braided hairstyle tied at the top with a hairband, a thin face, thick eyebrows, a straight nose with a short nasal bridge, a wide mouth, and a straight neck. The lower end of the neck is cast with inverted angular points, shorter in the front and longer in the back. There is a dent on the back of the head caused by hammering. The gold mask, made from pure gold foil, covers the forehead, cheeks, and ears, with perforations and openwork details on the eyebrows, eyes, and earlobes. The mask was adhered using a lacquer-based adhesive.
