Bronze mask with protruding eyes

Length: 138 cm, width: 85 cm, height: 6 cm, weight: 71.1 kg. Unearthed from Pit No. 2 at Sanxingdui, this large bronze mask is characterized by cylindrical eyes extending 16 cm forward, inverted V-shaped blade-like eyebrows, and widely spread ears with pointed, peach-shaped tips, and a hooked nose with spiraled nostrils curling upwards. The mouth is wide and deep, with an upturned, elongated mouth seam, seemingly revealing the tip of the tongue in a mysterious smile. A square hole in the center of the forehead suggests a missing ornament.
