Height: 31.7 cm, shoulder diameter: 25.7 cm, mouth diameter: 34 cm, belly diameter: 29 cm, foot diameter: 20 cm, weight: 4.1 kg. A Shang Dynasty ritual vessel used to hold offerings for deities. It has a straight-edged square lip, flared mouth, short constricted neck, sloping shoulder, straight belly that curves inward near the base, a flat bottom, and a flared high foot. Three raised bands encircle the neck. The shoulder bears three bull-head motifs, cast integrally with the body, and is decorated with zoomorphic masks against a background of cloud-thunder patterns. The upper belly features cloud motifs, while the mid-belly displays dual-dragon zoomorphic masks composed of cloud-thunder and blade-feathered patterns. The foot has three openwork rectangular panels above, with dual kuilong (mythical dragons) masks and six circular perforations below, all against similar background patterns. The zoomorphic masks on the foot, belly, and bull-heads align vertically. The surface retains traces of cinnabar pigment.
